Who we need

Toronto Film School is currently seeking experienced Graphic Designers to instruct a dedicated group of students. Experienced designers with a passion for the creation of intentional and meaningful design - we want you in our classroom delivering your passion through live synchronized learning over remote online classes. Reporting to the Program Director, Graphic Design & Interactive Media. 

What you will do

  • Teaching and managing student performance. 
  • Fostering student success through ongoing support and coaching.  
  • Provide direct ongoing operational and administrative support to the Program Director. 
  • Attend faculty related committees and meetings. 
  • Carry out administrative duties such as attend orientation and open houses, participate in committees and student events, among others. 

What you bring

As a seasoned Graphic Design professional with a strong portfolio, you have a love for design and creative thinking. You are an expert in Brand Building,  Interactive Media, Web Design, Motion Graphics, multi-disciplinary projects and leading creative teams, and you want to take on a role in an environment that makes a profound difference to the experience of students. 

Preference will be given to those with post-secondary facilitation, including creating assignments building lectures and course content. 

  • Degree in a related field (Graphic Design or Communications Media).
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.
  • Industry-related experience.
  • Highly proficient with industry tools and software.
  • A cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, modernized base of knowledge and ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey the curriculum to students.
  • A lifelong passion for innovating, designing, and teaching.
